Personal trainer
The at-home or in-box personal trainer works by session: for the long traveler, one or two sessions ordering the routine; for locals, the push a membership doesn't give.
What to ask in a session
Postural diagnosis, a written plan and technique on the basics — squat, deadlift, press: the session that leaves method, not soreness. Ask for the plan in writing to continue alone.
Where to find one
Boxes and neighborhood gyms concentrate certified trainers by session; booking platforms let you compare price and specialty. The review that matters is the months-long client's, not the trial's.
Online and mixed formats
Online follow-up with one monthly in-person session is the most efficient maintenance format: plan adjusted by video, technique corrected in person. Trial before committing to a pack.
